Hi, I’m Jody. I’m a story teller photographer.
After several years training alongside other professionals, I have taken that leap and decided to fly solo! And I don’t expect I will ever look back – I am so proud that I finally have a website all of my own, showcasing my work and having all your lovely faces smiling back at me.
I’m a Jersey girl and totally love my little island. It is such a beautiful backdrop for capturing people’s stories and I still discover hidden treasures here all the time. I specialise in family and wedding photography, and I just love photographing love!
The best feedback I could ever get from you guys is that you barely noticed I was there! I want to stand back and capture moments as they happen, enjoy your connection and go on your adventure with you.

my story . . .
Thinking about how I got here, my love of photography started when I was little. My mum was always following me and my brother around with a camera in her hand, recording all of those moments of us running around the garden, playing games and escaping into our own little world. I have so many great memories from growing up that I still remember so clearly thanks to the photographs my mum took. For me, that is what photography is all about; capturing real moments as they unfold and turning them into real memories to hold onto and to share.
And now it is my turn to capture these moments for others. I love that I can be part of helping others to make sure their stories are remembered and the details aren’t forgotten as time passes.
a little bit about me . . .
I can’t get enough of spending time with the people I love, being outside and eating delicious food. Especially the food actually!
If I could pick my perfect day off, it would look something like this:
An early morning sea swim * a warm mug of hot chocolate and a good book * brunch at the beach * a tough boxing workout session * getting my nails done * a pub pit stop * a cosy, home cooked meal * a long walk as the sun goes down * all ended with tv, blankets and LOTS of candles.
